- Who are Digires?

We are a small non-profit organisation based at Newcastle University in England.
We produce digital material for those involved in the training of research workers, veterinarians, and others who work with animals. We produce QuickTime Video Clips and Image files on CDROM. The resources can be accessed directly from the CDROMs or can be removed and used in Microsoft Powerpoint presentations or viewed individually. These resources are used in the training courses run at Newcastle University, both in seminars and practical training sessions.
Our aim has always been to make resources available as quickly as possible so that trainers can begin to explore ways of using the material in their courses. Our intention is not to produce broadcast quality material nor to produce full interactive training CDs, but to produce good quality resources at low or no cost.
Our CDs are distributed on a "not-for-profit" basis, and this is made possible thanks to the generous support of our sponsors.

- Why can I no longer purchase the BVA - Practical Animal Handling CD?
- We have created a free online version of the Practical Animal Handling CD which can be found both on the BVA-AWF website and on our sister site www.ahwla.org.uk (Assessing the Health and Welfare of Laboratory Animals).
- Can I pay by invoice?
- No. We have decided to stop accepting orders via invoice due the time it takes to process each order. We have also had problems in the past with non payment of orders. We are a 'non-profit' organisation and rely on the money that we charge for CDs to be able to continue offering this service.

Delivery within the UK is £2. Outside the UK is £5.
Delivery on all items may take up to 28 days, however we aim to have your goods shipped as soon as possible.
